It’s been a good week in Room 4. Everyone looked great on Wednesday in their red, white, and blue. The Veteran’s Day program was very nice and Room 4 was very well-behaved! J Our Scholastic News this week was about Veteran’s Day also.
On Wednesday we also welcomed Pryslee to our class. She had been going to school in Fort Yates. We now have 26 students in Room 4 - 14 girls and 12 boys.
Orders for the November Book Order are due on Monday, November 16th. Remember you can also order online with the code DVTV6.
We are still trying to “pop in with perfect attendance.” So far, we’ve only had two perfect attendance days in November. We’ve had some sick kids this week and others that needed to be gone for family reasons.
In November we’ve been trying to help Mr. Potato Head get it all together with good behavior. So far we’ve earned 7 pieces. Students following school rules help us get points for the day.
At conference time we talked about Student of the Week. I took the first turn and next week it will be Jessie’s turn. Look for the folder when it is your child’s turn. There will be paper to help them write about themselves. You can also send along photographs or the students can draw pictures for their bulletin boards. The students should be ready to put their board up on Monday of their assigned week.
Until next time,
Mrs. Mack
