It was so nice visiting with our families at conferences last week. We had 23 out of 25 families attend. If you were unable to attend and would like to reschedule, please contact me.
It’s been a good week in Room 4! The warmer weather and sunshine at the end of the week were a welcome addition, even if it made the playground a sloppy mess. On Thursday we went up to the high school for a program, ”Fitness is Fun,” for all K-8 students. The students enjoyed the presentation. This week Easton was Student of the Week. Next week it will be Max’s turn. We also celebrated Chloe’s seventh birthday on Thursday.
In Social Studies we made maps with six symbols in the map key. They are turning out nicely. Next week we will start on our community. Students should bring a box for their building. It can be a shoe box or some other box about that size. They will need the boxes on Tuesday.
Thanks to the party committee for the Valentine’s Day party. The students enjoyed the treats and games. They also had fun reading their valentines. This was the last party of the year.
Until next time,
Mrs. Mack
